Eden Hall Spa
Newark
Guy Taylor Associates’ involvement at Eden Hall Spa began in the early 2002’s with the restoration and conversion of a Grade II* listed house constructed in 1872-75 with French Renaissance and Venetian Gothic influences.
Our client's vision was to see the expansion of the existing complex, linking together existing elements to create a destination spa in the heart of the countryside.
The historic elements of the main building were restored to create a welcoming entrance area, formal dining space and spa facilities. A large conservatory was constructed to the frontage as a re-creation of the original glasshouse lost in 1942 when a Lancaster bomber exploded on a nearby airfield.
Further projects have seen various additions to the buildings and grounds, making the spa among the most popular in the UK, as seen through extensive coverage in the press.
More recently we have been involved in further expansion of the facilities through the development of the Spa Garden, a landscaped courtyard containing outdoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, relaxation room and The Vinery restaurant.
