Victorian home with contemporary extension

This modern extension replaces a leaky conservatory which suffered from being either too hot, or too cold. The contemporary concrete structure provides a large open plan living space with elevated views over the garden. The basement was also extended and converted into a bedroom with a full wall of glazing to bring in lots of light. The Victorian property is within a Conservation Area, the modern approach makes a clear distinction between the old and the new.
